This policy explains what information Miller Window Fashions (“we” or “us”) collects through www.millerwindowfashions.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you send us
When you call or text 904-525-2692, email us, or use a form on the Site, we receive the details you choose to give us, such as your name, phone number, email address, address or neighborhood, and information about your windows and project. Messages sent through the Site's forms are stored in the online system our website team manages for us, where we read and answer them. Along with what you type, it records the page you sent the form from and the type of browser you used.
Spam protection
To keep spam out of our inbox, the forms on the Site use Google reCAPTCHA. When you use a form, reCAPTCHA collects information about your device and how you use the page and sends it to Google to check that you are a person. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to that check.
Information collected automatically
Like nearly every website, the servers that deliver the Site keep standard technical logs of each visit, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the date and time. Our hosting provider keeps these logs to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse. We do not use them to identify you.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
The Site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use it, and Google Ads conversion tracking to see which of our ads lead to an estimate request. Both are Google services. They set cookies and collect information such as the pages you view, the links you tap (our phone number, for example), the site that sent you here, your browser and device type, and an approximate location based on your IP address. We look at this information in summary form to improve the Site and our advertising, and we do not use it to identify you.
You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and control how Google personalizes ads in Google's ad settings. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser's settings; the Site still works without them.
How we use your information
We use the information you send us to answer your questions, schedule your free in-home consultation, prepare your quote, and supply, install, and support the products you buy from us.
Sharing your information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with companies that help us run the business and complete your order, such as our email and website hosting providers, the service that stores our website form messages, and Google, which provides our analytics and ad measurement, and only as needed for that work. We will also disclose information when the law requires it.
Text messages
We will not share your mobile information with third parties for marketing and advertising purposes. Mobile Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Links to other websites
The Site links to other websites, such as Facebook, Yelp, Nextdoor, and Google Maps. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to show you the information we have about you, correct it, or delete it, or to stop contacting you. Call or text 904-525-2692 or email David@millerwindowfashions.com.
Children
The Site is not intended for children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
Security
The Site is served only over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and we take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmitting or storing information is perfectly secure, however.
