Odd windows are where local manufacturing pays off. Arched tops, angled frames, French door cutouts, wide sliders: I template the opening and build the shutter to match it exactly. The arch photos on this page are real Jacksonville installs, not catalog shots.

Dark shutters are having a moment.
Bright white is the classic, but some of my favorite recent installs are deep navy and black shutters against light walls. If your home leans modern, ask to see the dark finishes at your consultation.
